Say what you may, but I love going to do normal things in different counties. Like going to the grocery store. Kelly was happy to oblige since we drank about 3 gallons of milk in the time we were there. Observations:
They sell bread unwrapped. (ew. fingerprints. sneezes. yuck. I'm such an American germophobe.)
Yummy stuff for the babies.
Cottage pie??
They had a huge supply of soup starters.
Most were Ox Tail. You don't find that at Kroger.
Everything there is in small packages...except potatoes which come in 20 lb. bags. Everything else of ill repute (chips, ice cream, candies) are of insanely small packages by American standards. Like 3-4 servings. No jumbo sizes here! (It's nice.) You can also get super big bags of turnips...think 10+ pounds.
Also some interesting flavors of potato chips. Sausage & crispy bacon, Roasted turkdy and Prawn cocktail. Um, yum??
