Because both of our kids like to get up early, all this occured before 8:30 am. After breakfast, Mom and Katelyn played in the basement then came upstairs to see what else we coud do, so we made muffins. This was the first time Katelyn helped me bake and it went really well. "Bake" may be too strong a word, we just added milk to a muffin mix, stirred it, put it in the tin and baked it, but Katelyn helped with all those steps. She did a great job stiring and even putting it in the muffin tin. Then there was an excercise in patience as they baked. She kept close watch. Can you imagine if those were cookies!?
She is deservedly proud of her creation.
They taste good too!
Chris entertained Matthew. He said they were practicing tummy time. Matthew seems to like this type of tummy time much better than Mommy's version, but it looks a lot like a nap to me!
And here is one picture from Saturday night. Chris made the first fire of the season and the first fire in our new house.

I love the pictures of Katelyn. You'll have to compare it to the pic of the guys watching the cookies bake when they were little.
