Katelyn and Dad each got a haircut this weekend. Dad's was the normal boring type. Katelyn's was more fun, as it should be. Here's the before picture, taken while she plays on the slide in the salon while waiting.
During she got to watch Dora the Explorer and look through a basket of toys. The best part came at the end when she got a balloon AND a lollipop. What could be better!
On Sunday, Dad got her started on the Wii. She liked the cow jumping game and did pretty well considering her age. Okay, her score was abysmal, but she really had fun making the cow jump and go from side to side.
Matthew had a good weekend too. He was hanging out with Mom, literally. I hadn't used my Moby wrap in awhile and brought it out to try some new holds. This one was just okay. He slumped over pretty quickly.
This one was a winner. He hung out this way for over an hour including the whole time I made dinner.
Then he got tired. But I got dinner made AND got to eat it in relative peace. That's a successful evening.
