We got our Christmas tree several weeks ago. I'm just getting around to posting pictures. No hunting for trees this year. Ours came from a farm called Lowes. Matthew's says. "Hey! There's a tree on the porch!"
He helped Dad make sure it was straight.
Then Katelyn returned to help decorate.
Due to Matthew's curiousity and ever growing reach...
our tree looks like this:
haha! It's certainly a sign of the stages of our kids. I don't mind though and you can see in the previous post that it's much less noticable when the lights are on. We continued our tradition of milkshakes around the tree too. (but first a picture of silly Katelyn's literal take on stockings.)
Per Katelyn's request, we did chocolate this year, and she took hers as far away from the rest of us as she could get. No sharing that yumminess!
I shared with Matthew. It was his first taste of milkshakes, chocolate and ice cream all in one. I didn't get much after that.
I'm trying to pry it out of his hands here with little luck.
Needless to say, the newest member of the Irwin family thinks this tradition is a great one!

Your tree is great! We got our tree from Home Depot. Ha ha! Love the look on Matthew's face as he's drinking the milkshake.
