Matthew's birthday was Oct. 24, a Sunday. We went to Boo at the Zoo in the morning. It was a chilly start. Chris gave Katelyn his fleece. Matt just toughed it out (no, it wasn't THAT cold).
Dad treated Katelyn to her first pony ride.Matthew groomed the goats.
They had lots of displays.
Caught the two kids on the polar bear.
We don't have a lot of big trees so our kids don't have the opportunity to play in piles of leaves. We found enough near ths play area to kick enough together so he could jump in them. He did this many times.
At the arctic playground, Matthew loved pretending to drive this arctic cruiser.
They also passed out candy. Matt snuck this lollypop. His very first one.
I asked Chris to ice the cake while I finished up dinner. See how Katelyn 'helped.'
Matthew liked his cake and ice cream.
He really liked it.
Just one present this day.
It's Ugh! I made this little monster. Ugh was his working name. Matt can name him whatever he wants, but for now, it's Ugh.
He liked Ugh. (Katelyn took this picture.)
And Mommy loves Matthew.
Bye!

Great pictures! Especially love the lesson in blowing out the candles and the wonderful creative Ugh. Great job, Laura! Really cute.
