The Franklin County fairgrounds are in Hilliard, and we've gone the past few years to see the sights...and the animals. We want Katelyn to know that milk comes from something before it comes from Kroger. While we were there, she got this fun balloon, flower hat.
This was also the first year we let her ride rides. She did really well. It helped that she ran into a friend from school that recommended some good ones and went on a few with her.
We also saw this dog and bear show. Here the bear is trying to get a marshmallow out of the tube.

But far more interesting than the animals was seeing Hilliard's finest. I'm glad we left before sundown, because I had seen enough 'unique' characters while it was still daylight!
