Christmas 2009 Part 2

There was more to our Christmas than the bounce house.... Chris made the kids wait to open their presents until my parents arrived at 10. I had mentioned this to my mom so they got there at 9. Our family is a dig in, open everything at once family. Chris is a one at a time family. We're trying to compromise. Katelyn got to open 1 before Grandma and Grandpa got there...her Tinkerbell DVD.
Dad made pancakes.
Then my parents arrived, with Kibbie.

Then we all got to open presents! Matthew was much more involved this year and did a good job.
Katelyn found this horse. Thankfully, we don't have to feed it.
Unpacking and setting up the bounce house was a family affair. Grandpa C. also got stuck on 'extract toy from packaging of 300 twist ties' duty.

We followed the festivities with a nap for Matthew and a lunch of ham, yams, salad, corn pudding, rolls and cheesecake. It was a great Christmas.
