Old Hilliardfest 2010

We walked over to Old Hilliardfest September 11 instead of going to Cedar Point.  This was the weekend right after we returned from NH and we mainly wanted to do something that did not involve being in the van!  It's a street fair with a carshow and this year they dedicated The First Responders Park which contains a piece of steel from the World Trade Center towers.  I'm not sure what Hilliard did to get a piece, but it's a nice memorial park.

On a lighter note, they also had bounce stuff!

Morgan's mom posted that she didn't like bounce houses.  Let her spend a weekend with my kids and they'll get her bouncing!  Luckily it wasn't too busy b/c Matt wouldn't come out.  Katelyn was helpful enough to drag him out once, but the next time they just let him stay in until he got close to the opening and Dad snagged him.

He loved it.  I liked he could faceplant w/o injury.

There was a trolley on our way out.  Guess you can rent it.  Too bad we didn't know about that for our wedding, eh?  : )  Katelyn was taken with it and wanted her picture taken.
