Father's Day

On Father's Day this year, we went up to Highbanks Metro park for a hike and a picnic. Dad carried Katelyn. She fit into it better 2 years ago, but still enjoyed the ride.
Matthew rode with Mom in the Moby. It was very comfortable.
Mom and Katelyn are dressed alike again. One of us needs to get some new, different clothes!
We saw some wildlife, like this little toad and a cute inchworm. (Scientists out there are welcome to send in correct species names.)
We also saw this tree that had recently been struck by lightening.

Katelyn walked all the way back, but had to stop and give Matthew a kiss.
Then we had a picnic and played before heading home where everyone took a nap.
After nap, Katelyn made a few trips through the water worm.
No earthshattering excitement, but a fun day.

Sounds as though it was a very nice Father's Day outing. Good thing Mommy and Daddy have strong backs.
