Pretty much the first thing out of Katelyn’s mouth this morning was, ‘I not go to school today.’ I told her she had to go because it was crazy hat day and she didn’t want to miss the fun. Then she changed her approach.
Katelyn: I not feeling well.
Mom: What feels bad?
K: My heart.
M: What’s wrong with your heart?
K: It’s bleeding.
M: Oh no! Hugs fix that. Let me give you a hug.
K: No. TV. TV fix it.
A pretty dramatic attempt to get some TV before breakfast, and it didn't work. Good try though. But who knows, maybe she has an idea. For all of you out there on heart medication, maybe you should just try some TV.
